At the
Queen Elizabeth Hospital on May 28, 2018 the passing of
Robert T. MacDonald, age 82, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth
(Vuozzo) MacDonald occurred with family by his side. Born in
Bridgetown, February 28, 1936, he was the son of the late Spurgeon and
Christina (MacKenzie) MacDonald. Bob will be sadly missed by his
loving children Gena Vuozzo James (Barry), Barb MacDonald (Mark), Tony
MacDonald, Shirley MacDonald (Jamie); grandchildren Bobbi-Joe
MacDonald Ellis, Justin James, Jamie Boshuis, Chad Boshuis, Jessy
James; 5 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Wally (Margo),
Milton (Leah); sisters Joyce Maleta (George), Shirley Hansen; numerous
nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters Barbara Ann, Georgie
Ruth, Margaret; brother-in-law Gary
Bob was in the Canadian Army
and his Regiment was one of the first Peace
Keepers sent to Egypt in 1956.
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Thursday, May
31st from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral Mass to take place at St Mary’s
Catholic Church on Friday, June 1st at 10 am. Interment to follow in
the Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Humane Society would be
