Bolam, Robert
Surrounded by family, Bob passed away on December 20th, 2018 after a valiant struggle with dementia. He was 79 years old. He is the son of the late Charles Bolam and Fernande “Chérie” Chevrier of Campbell’s Bay, QC. Bob is leaving behind, his wife Jeanne Turmel of 57 years, and his cherished children: Michelle (Terry Thomson), Suzanne (Rob Delorme), Steve (Linda Joly). His grand-children Kayleigh Felice (Alex Pigeon), Sarah Felice (Pascal Cléroux), Bradley Thomson, Dylan Thomson, Robert LeBrocq, Stephane LeBrocq and Jade Bolam; as well as three great-grand-children: Ariel, William and Juliette. He is also leaving behind a sister Denise Bolam (Wayne Pickering). He has joined his great-grand-daughter Anya who died at birth, as well as his sister Barbara Bolam (Bill Casey). In his younger years, Bob enjoyed parachuting and took up single engine aircraft flying as a hobby. He took pleasure in cross country skiing, canoeing and camping with his family and friends. He became a bone marrow donor in 1993. He was a lifelong contributor to Doctor’s Without Borders and World Vision. A celebration of Bob’s life and burial will take place privately.
