Robert Alexander “Bob” Roberts
1919-2018
It is with great sadness the family announces the
passing of Robert Alexander “Bob” Roberts of Saint John, NB,
husband of the late Eileen O’Keefe Roberts which occurred on Saturday,
June 23, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John
he was a son of the late Robert and Edna (Clark) Roberts. He will be
fondly remembered for his support, over many years, to Portland United
Church. He is survived by one daughter: Carol Jones (Don) of Saint
John; three sons: David (Carol Anne), Bruce (Jill) both of Saint John
and Donald (Karen) of Grand Bay-Westfield; eleven grandchildren; nine
greatgrandchildren; special friend Edna Hill; several nieces
and nephews.
Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by two
sisters: Bernice and Eleanor; one brother:
Armand.
There will be no funeral home visitation or service. A
private graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements
are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John NB (634-7424). Remembrances may be made to
the Charity of the donor’s choice.
