Richard Carrière
Peacefully at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. Richard Carrière of Alexandria; age 77 years. Beloved husband of Gisèle Carrière (nee Montpetit). Loving father of Michel Carrière (Henrietta) of Alcona, and Daniel Carrière (Karine) and Stéphane Carrière (Réjeanne) both of Alexandria. Cherished grandfather of Nicole (Ian Cyr), Rachel, Marc and Joel. Predeceased by one brother Bruno Carrière. Dear son of the late Louis and Ida Carrière (nee Lalonde). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Friday from 9:30 am -10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Église Sacré-Coeur on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Richard a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
