Richard Ware Oliver passed away peacefully at Kingsway Lodge, St. Marys, on December 29, 2018 at the age of 71.
Predeceased by his parents Doug and Aileen Oliver.
Brother of Jim and Wendy Oliver and their children Carolyn and Duane Van Fleet and children Mackenna, Carson and Bryton; Brian Oliver and Lori, brother Frank and Deb and their children Samantha and Jeremy Murray and children Abigail, Amelia; Nicholas and Nydia Oliver and child Victoria.
Richard was a dedicated member Perth Regiment Veterans St. Marys Br. 236 Royal Canadian Legion and a long-time friend to many.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S., St. Marys, on Monday, Jan 7, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A Legion Service will take place at 6:45 p.m. The Memorial Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 at 1 p.m. with Pastor David Horne officiating. Private family interment in St. Marys Cemetery. Reception to follow at the St. Marys Legion, 66 Church St. N. St. Marys.
Memorial Donations may be made to Kingsway Life Care or the St. Marys Legion.
