BROOKS, Rhonda Elizabeth
Rhonda Brooks died peacefully with family by her side, on Saturday, October 5, 2018 at Cassellholme, North Bay. She was in her 95th year. Rhonda was predeceased by her husband Percival Pearson “Pete” Brooks (1913-2003) and their infant daughter Phyllis Brooks. She was the beloved mother of Ron Brooks (Carol) of Port Loring, Harold Brooks (Faye) of North Bay, Mona Simpson (Jim) of North Bay, Tom Brooks (Cathy) of Port Loring. Rhonda will be lovingly missed by her numerous Grandchildren, Great and Great Great Grandchildren, and many other family and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings John, David and Charles Brooks, Hannah Currie, Margaret Bowers, Esther Ship, Mae Bain and Doris Bautz. The Brooks family will receive visitors at St. Andrew’s United Church, Port Loring on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, October 10 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Port Loring Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children, Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario are suggested (cheques only please).
