Rhodena Frances MacLennan
September 3, 1936 – July 19, 2018
MACLENNAN (Pardy), Rhodena
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Rhodena (Pardy) MacLennan, on July 19, 2018. Born in Florence on September 3, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Kathleen (MacGillivary) Pardy.
Rhodena was a beautiful soul who loved her family. She especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
She will be missed by her loving husband, Howard; sons, David, Sheldon and Jason (Melissa); grandchildren, Makayla, Nicholas, Matthew, Sophia, Benjamin and Daniel, and brother, Neil Pardy.
Rhodena was predeceased by daughter, Rhonda; brothers, Frank, Ralph and Jim, and sisters, May and Helen.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, as well as the nurses and staff of the Northside General Hospital, especially the 5th floor, for the care and compassion given to Rhodena.
In keeping with Rhodena’s wishes there will be no visitation or Funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home. A burial will take place at a later date at Brookside Cemetery.
