My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Wayne, Roxanne and Gary 's families  on his sudden passing (from a cousin on the Brohman side).  Being a rather tall person since childhood...Gary nicknamed me "Shorty" and he, Wayne and Roxanne called me that forever!!! I'll never forget that !! Rest in peace., deepest sympathy  love Andrea. 

To Gary's family, know my heart breaks with yours...very sad to hear of the passing of Gary.  I will never forget when he agreed to be my escort to my grade 12 Grad.  He was like the big brother at the after grad, watching over me making sure I was safe!! Great memory.. better than the memory of breaking uncle Playfords homemade wine casks while all adults were at the horse races and helping ourselves to some really good tasting 'juice'!!! Adults came home to ALL of us young ones having a happy party.  Gary was older than us is all I am going to say about that!!! Little did we know years later that the wine casks were made for the daughters anticipated weddings! Lovingly remembered and never forgotten.  R.I.P Cuz!

We are very saddened to hear of Gary's sudden passing. Unfortunately we only saw Gary at rare family gatherings, most recently the birthdays of Aunt Marie 2013 and of Harold 2016.  Nonetheless we always looked forward to seeing Gary again and hearing what he was up to - catching up on his corner of the world and enjoying a few chuckles. Our easy-going, kind-hearted, lovely cousin Gary. We were very fond of him. We send our deepest condolences to son Wesley, best friend Christine, sister Roxanne and family, brother Wayne and family, and all those near and dear.

Susan and I send our condolences to Christine and everyone in the family.  Gary will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.  He was a lovely, kind and gentle man.  the last time we saw him was at my father's (Harold Steffler's) 100th birthday party.  Gary's kindness, good humour and gracious friendship added so much to the occasion.  He will always be alive in our memories.  

Gary was a great friend of our son  Garnet William Horner, we had retired in Dorset Ontario Gary and or son Garnet spent many a weekend fishing, boating and  time together. When our son passed away June 18th 1995. We would not have thought that his friends would stay in  touch  like Gary ,he would call and come up for a weekend  many, many times and he would always bring the biggest tenderloin steaks he could buy. He became the son we lost. We are very sad to here about his passing.  Say hello to Garnet when you get there , he will be waiting for you.
