St. Louis, Raymond “Momon”(1944-2018)
The family announces with sorrow his accidental death, Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Sturgeon Falls, at the age of 73 years. Son of the late Benoit St. Louis and of the late Gracia St. Louis (née Bélanger). Loving husband of Huguette St. Louis (née Rainville) of Cache Bay. Precious father of Chantale Levac (Robert) and Roch St. Louis (Tammy) both of Cache Bay. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Désirée and Rowyn. Also survived by his sister Lucille Valade of Sturgeon Falls and by his brother Gilles “Dedoute” (Lisette) of Gatineau, Québec. Predeceased by brothers Rodolphe, René, Hervé, Armand, Hector, and by his sisters Jeannine, Jeanne, Laurette, Laura and Juliette. Raymond worked for many years as a custodian/janitor for many schools in Sturgeon Falls. Upon retirement he decided to drive school buses for Alouette Bus Line. A community minded person, Raymond participated in many groups and organisations including the Cache Bay Volunteer Firefighters, the Knights of Columbus in the third and fourth degree and was elected as town councilor for the former town of Cache Bay. The St. Louis family will receive friends at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home Sturgeon Falls, Friday, January 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Saturday friends may call after 11 am. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1;30 in Ste. Thérèse D’Avila Church, Cache Bay. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Cheques only.
