Obituary of Randy Tieman
Suddenly at his home on Friday, November 16, 2018; Randy Tieman at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Liane Beauchemin. Loving father of Gabrielle Tieman-Lee (Jason), Jesse, Dennis and Harry. Predeceased by his parents Russell and Doreen Tieman (nee Schilbe). He is survived by his brother Barry (Diane). Randy will be missed by many friends and members of the community. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St., Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Friday November 23, 2018 from 1 – 4 pm. A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held at 4 pm; with eulogies and stories. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation-Cancer Treatment, (3755 Côte-Sainte-Catherine Road, A-107, Montréal, Québec, H3T 1E2 or www.jghfoundation.org) would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Randy a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.

  2. If ever a person left a piece of themselves with you after meeting them, Randy is that person. A shining example of keeping a positive outlook, no matter what. That spirit lives on in almost everyone who had the chance to cross paths with him.

  3. A few years ago, on a rare Saturday night off, I went to the Opera and met Randy Tiemen there. We talked about our connection to hockey, the Habs and what do you do when there’s no hockey in town. For Randy, it was to take his wife to the Opera.
    During the 2010 Olympic parade downtown I managed to get backstage with the athletes. Randy figured it out, gave me a wink and let me stand beside him while he interviewed top athletes. A real sweetie!

CONDOLENCES TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS .RANDY TEIMAN WAS PART OF MY LIFE WATCHING HIM ON TV COVERING SPORTS.Always had a great big Smile.watched SPORTS everyday on NEWS.Why do all the best people die so young.I guess they get a FIRST pass to Heaven .WE will MISS HIM. WHEN I SAW HIM AT CFCF HE HAD THAT BIG SMILE HELD HIS ARMS UP HIGH .He was a real friendly man.love to FAMILY.Enjoy your memories.All the GOOD ones.
