Randy Ivan Doucette
1962-2018
It is with great sadness that the family of Randy
Doucette announces his passing after a long battle with cancer on
October 3, 2018, at the age of 55 years at the Aberdeen Hospital in
New Glasgow. Randy leaves behind his parents Ivan and Jean Doucette,
children; Keauna, Kayden, Ryan, Justin and Megan, grandchildren, his
sister Heather Doucette, niece Emilie Doucette, and special friend
Annette MacLaren. Randy was predeceased by an infant brother Randy and
sister Shelley along with maternal and paternal
grandparents.
Born in Yarmouth, Randy was manager of the
A&W restaurant and Empire Theatre and was a long-time member
of the Auxiliary RCMP. He moved to New Glasgow to take a position with
Empire Theatre. At the time of his illness, he was employed with Stark
Industries.
Randy had a passion for travel and loved to
frequently visit Cuba. His quick wit and humor will be missed by all
who knew him.
