Streight, Ralph Emerson
October 12, 1925 – September 2, 2018
Passed away peacefully with family at his side, at the Kemptville District Hospital on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the age of 92. He was the son of John and Florence (Davis) Streight and the last surviving member of his family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marjorie, and his brothers Fred (late Pearl), Percy (late Murial), Lloyd, Lyle (Tonny) and Ransford (Marion). Along with his two sister-in-laws, he will be sadly missed by his nephew Robert and his wife Liz and their family along with several nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered by Marjorie’s children, Chris Burns (Laura), Donna Tenbult (late Herman) and Lisa Burns and their families. The family wishes to thank the Ottawa General Hospital Dialysis Unit, the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Dialysis Unit and the Kemptville District Hospital for the care and compassion during the last six months.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville on Friday, September 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, September 8 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 noon. Interment Bishops Mills Cemetery. Those who wish, may make memorial donations to the Bishops Mills Cemetery or the charity of their choice.
