It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Pierrette Lynch at Au Chateau, Sturgeon Falls on February 17, 2018 at the age of 76 years. Dearly loved wife of John Lynch for 52 years. Devoted mother of Jim Lynch (Ligia Vidal) and Jody Lynch (Mark Morley). Predeceased by her parents; Leo and Aurore Groulx (nee Presley). Pierrette was a committed employee of Conrad Proulx for over 40 years. She was dedicated to her community, serving as the Past President of the West Nipissing Canadian Cancer Society, volunteered at Au Chateau, and was Past President of Les Chatelaines. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. Funeral directions are entrusted to McGuinty Funeral Home- Sturgeon Falls. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all the staff at Au Chateau, with special thanks to the staff of the 2nd floor, for their exceptional care and compassion shown to Pierrette and her family. In Pierrette’s memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Les Chatelaines would be gratefully appreciated by her family. Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
