Phyllis Iona Kelly
Phyllis I. Kelly, 88, of Irishtown,
passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January
10, 2018. Born in Gallagher Ridge, she was the daughter of
the late George and Lottie (Forsythe) Price.
Phyllis was a former Nursing Assistant
at K. E. Spencer Memorial Home and was a member of Visions United
Church, Stilesville. Phyllis loved to read. She enjoyed hunting and
fishing and adored her grandchildren.
Phyllis will be sadly missed by her
daughter, Ann Kelly (Guy Gallibois) of New Carlisle, PQ; son, Tim
Kelly of Irishtown and daughter-in-law, Susan Shephard-Kelly of Berry
Mills; grandchildren, Jeremy, Trudy, Cassidy, Sadie, Molly and Joseph;
sisters-in-law, Jean Price and Ethel Price; several nieces, nephews
and extended family members. She was the last surviving member of her
immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was
predeceased by her husband, Douglas A. Kelly (May 2003); sisters,
Merna Ambrose, Hazel Price, Marjorie Freeman and Margaret Boudreau;
and brothers, Walter, Vernon, David, Albert, Everett and
Irvine.
A Service to celebrate and honour the
life of Phyllis will be held at Visions United Church, 1270 Gorge
Road, on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Shawn
Redden leading the service. Reception to follow the
service.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(885-1995).
Donations in memory of Phyllis to the
Canadian Cancer Society or the Stilesville Cemetery Fund would be
