Phyllis Adeline Wowk (Stawnichy)
At the age of 77 years, following a brief illness, our family regrets to announce that Phyllis Wowk passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2018.
Phyllis is lovingly remembered by her family; children, Donna (Dennis) Bedard, Cheryl (Martin) Lorincz and Gary (Suzanne) Wowk; grandchildren, Alexander and Katherine Bedard, Shaun and Thomas Lorincz, Danielle (Nathaniel) Nagy and Andrew Wowk; sisters-in-law, Annie, Moneca, and Shirley; and many beloved family and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Glen; her parents, Louis and Nancy Stawnichy; sisters, Anne and Mary; brother, Elmer; and brothers-in-law, George and Edward.
At Phyllis’ request, a private service will be held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the E.G. King Critical Care Unit c/o University Hospital Foundation.
