  1. We are very saddened to hear of the sudden loss of our friend Philip McAiney. He did a lot for helping to inform the world of Billy Meier and Meier’s group called FIGU and to forward the mission for truth, peace, love and freedom in the world… his efforts will be remembered and cherished. He was a great film maker and had many true stories that were something truly extraordinary to hear, he was a truly unique human being, sorely missed. He met with Mohammed Ali to tell him about Meier; he did a film called ‘UFO’s and Channelling’, narrated by Telly Savalas, which included the extraordinary story of Brazilian Luis Gasparetto among others; he collaborated with the late James Deardorff; he visited India to track down evidence of Meier’s story; he was a long time member of FIGU Switzerland and was a member of the FIGU Canadian Study Group in the 90’s.

  2. It is with sadness that I have learned about the passing of my old friend and co-worker Phil. I knew Phil when we both worked for the Church of Scientology in Toronto in the 1970s Phil was always a ‘can do’ type of guy who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. I know everyone at the Church of Scientology in Toronto would have said the same thing about Phil too.

  3. I knew Phil when we were both working for the Church of Scientology in Toronto. Phil was well liked by all the Scientologists in Toronto and will always be remembered.

  4. I knew Phil when we were both gung ho workers at the Church of Scientology of Toronto. Phil’s enthusiasm for Scientology was infectious and it was easy for me to get caught up in his ardour for Scientology. He made me want to spread the technology of L. Ron Hubbard to as many people as possible to improve their lives. For this, I am eternally grateful. Good luck Phil. We will meet again.

  5. Oh God! Phil, I never knew. You were an inspiration to me with your wild infectious enthusiasm Phil.

I will cherish our times together in the Church of Scientology when we both worked to protest psychiatry and fought against the enemies of Scientology in the name of freedom and human rights. Ron Hubbard would be proud of you, Phil.

  6. I don’t know why I didn’t see this sooner. I am shocked and saddened to hear this news. Phil was a good friend of mine and a great co-worker. His compassion and empathy was humbling. We both worked together at the Church of Scientology in Toronto and also for the Citizen’s Commission on Human Rights fighting on behalf of all psychiatric patients and against the critics of Scientology. I cherish the long discussions we had with each other back then. See you soon Phil. My late brother Zee knew Phil as well and Zee knew Phil to be one of the most generous people he ever knew. Zee knew.
