Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 68. Loving husband of Susan. Cherished father of Chris (2012) and Brogann, Ryan (2011) and Dustin. Dear son of Daphne and the late Earl Sanderson (deceased) and cherished son-in-law of Ralph and Donna Beattie. Beloved brother of David (2002) (Yvette), Adrian (Terri), Terry (2014) (Susan), Lindsay and Shane. Dearest Grampa Phil to Stevie and Clementine. Brother in-law to Darryl (Janet). Phil will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Sunday October 14, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation (Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research) would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Philip in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
