It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter O’Quinn who passed peacefully at his home in Windsor, Ontario with his wife and family by his side on July 31, 2018. Leaving to mourn his loving family, his beloved wife Mary Pauline O’Quinn of 40 years; he was a loving father to Colleen (John), Carmel (Timothy), Diane (Dave), Linda (Gary), Valerie (Blair), and David (Sherri-Lynn). He will be dearly missed by his 25 loving grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; 5 sisters: Regina, Joan, Tresa, Ann (Sandy), and Emmie (Engram); brothers: Phones (Pat), and James; sisters in-law: Sandra and Maralies, brothers in-law: Eddie (Pat), David (Bev), Amie, and Clyde; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Sean (2010); parents Ralph and Mary O’Quinn; sister Marg; brothers Joseph (Ruthanne); brothers in-law Stanley, Gordon, Andy and Dan; parents in-law Edmund and Joanna Beaudoin and brothers in law Bobbie, Jake and Len. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street on Friday, September 28th from the hours of 12-1:30 Pm, followed by interment at 2 p.m. at Mount Patricia Cemetery with Father Andrew White officiating. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Corner Brook Food Bank.
