Peacefully, at Amica Bronte Retirement Home on the morning of December 27, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Vera (nee Putric) for 61 years. Cherished father of Rosemary Vassallo (George) and Katharin Buhlman (Tom). Sadly missed by grandchildren Nadene Riopelle (Robert) and their family Porter and Adelaide. Krystal Davey (Ryan) and their family Keaton, Owen and Aila. Survived by brother Tony (Anna), sister in law Mira Kutlesa (Blaz). Remebered by many nieces, nephews and all his extended family. Peter worked for Ford Motor Company for forty years, was a long and faithful member of Holy Trinity Church. The family will receive friends at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home 3164 Ninth Line Oakville on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4-9 p.m. Prayer swill be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home on Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from Croatian Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity (2110 Trafalgar Road Oakville) on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Ian Anderson House Hospice would be appreciated.
