Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Friday, September 28th, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Hilda Roy. Dear father of Shannon Roy-Montgomery (Scott), Faye Polci (Gary), Donald Hirtle (Susan) and John Hurtle. Cherished grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 14. Peter will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First Street Orangeville, on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at 11:00 am. with visitation begining at 10:00 am. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Headwaters Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Peter in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
