Obituary of Peggy Grass
Grass, Peggy of St. Thomas and formerly of Springfield passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, December 1, 2018 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Donald (Smiley) Grass(2003). Dear mother of Debbie Grass of Port Bruce, Donna Grass of London and Diane Agar(Tim) of RR4 Iona Station. Loving grandmother of Stephan(Rae) and Ryan(Maria). Sister of Lou Dykxhoorn( Willy), Jack Dykxhoorn(Ruby) and Sophia Van Kessel. Sister-in-law of Gerald(Rose), John(Carol), Bruce(Phyllis) and Harold(Doris). Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a brother Neil Dykxhoorn and sisters Coby Vannoord and Nellie Korhonen. Born in Nootdorp, The Netherlands on September 3, 1938, daughter of the late Nelus and Neeltje(Steeneveld) Dykxhoorn. Peggy was very active in the Springfield Community. She helped run the Santa Claus Parade for many years. Peggy was known for her great sense of humor. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
