Passed peacefully away at the Bay Roberts Retirement Centre on Friday, March 2, 2018, Pauline Dempsey of Harbour Grace, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband: Cliff Dempsey; spouse: Joseph Edgar; parents: Felix and Mary McCarthy; brothers: Patrick and Gerald; brother-in-law: Thomas Galway; sister-in-law: Mary McCarthy. Leaving to mourn, three brothers: Tom (Margaret) McCarthy and William McCarthy, both of Harbour Grace South, and Michael McCarthy, Harbour Grace; one sister: Mary (Henry) Whelan, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; sister-in-law: Pauline, Barrie, ON; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Sunday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
