RAE, Paul Albert –
Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the age of 80. Loving husband of Esther (nee Kostiuk) for 58 years. Cherished father of Steven Rae and Kevin Rae (Sherry Kenny). Proud grandfather of Paul Rae, Jennifer Bryce (Eric), Ashley Welburn (Scott), and Kinsley Rae, and great-grandfather of soon to be 5. Dear brother of Brian Rae (Dolores) and Ann Louise Arsenault (Roger). Paul will also be missed by extended family and numerous friends. Also the members from the Navy Club on Industrial Drive and the Burlington Mushball League, and colleagues from many years with the Burlington Minor Hockey Association. Private Cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 4pm – 6pm with vigil prayers and tributes commencing at 4pm. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s memory to either the Hamilton General Hospital or the Joseph Brant Hospital would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
