Obituary of Patricia Robarts
ROBARTS, Patricia Ann
Age 82, of Windsor, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Hants Community Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Marion and Marvin Gray, Windsor.
She is survived by her husband of nearly sixty years, Karl Robarts, and her children, Chris, Hubbards; Susan (Brent) Gerrits, South Alton; Sharon (Tony) Fitzgerald, Port Williams; and Michael, Bedford; as well as eight grandchildren, Tristan, Janine, and Joshua Gerrits, Mitchell, Jordan, and Kaylie Fitzgerald, and Kate and Erin Robarts. She is also survived by her sister, Judith Gray (Doug), Madoc Ontario; and her nieces Nancy and Christina.
Pat graduated from Kings Edgehill School, then earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Nova Scotia Normal College. Pat lived in Wolfville and taught at schools in various areas of Nova Scotia, then later taught for twenty-two years at Wolfville Children’s Centre before moving to Windsor to care for her father.
She was a loving, patient, kindhearted person who always showed her concern for others and never wanted to be fussed over. She loved her cats, watching the birds, spending time on the South Shore and with the family at her trailer at Evangeline Beach Campground.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no funeral at her request with a private family graveside service at a later date.
