CHIZEN, Patricia Kay (nee Hickman)
Patricia Kay Chizen (nee: Hickman) age 72 of Thorhild, Alberta, went to be with her Lord on June 22, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 17, 1946 in Munro, Michigan to Wilfred and Loretta Hickman (Roach).
Pat was a loving wife, mom, daughter, sister, grandma, great grandma, aunt and friend. Her arms and doors were always open. She never judged people by what they did, but accepted them for who they were. She had the biggest heart, especially when it came to kids – of all ages. Well known for her sense of humor, which got her and us through life. Not a negative bone in her body. She never put herself first, and this was evident in the countless hours she devoted to volunteering for her community and to organizations such as girl guides, Tops, Weight Watchers, Alanon and A.A.: donating and baking for events and people. She never wanted credit nor recognition, that was just who she was.
Patricia is survived by her husband Tony; children Serge, Linda, William (Patty), Sharon (Craig), Bev (Charles), Kathy (Ralph), Mark, Wilfred (Gloria), Brenda (Ken), Scott (Janice), Clark (Carleea), Alfred: Brother Wally (Theresa); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and special friends.
Preceded in death by death by her parents Wilfred “Red”(Clair), Loretta (Robert), sister Joanne , nephew Jim, mother–in–law Mary, Brother-in-laws Joe, Nick, Mike and Richard.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday June 27th, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Westlock Funeral Home with Pastor Marjorie Steele officiating.
