It is with heavy hearts that the family of
Pamela Rae Ferris-Drost announce her passing, which occurred at the
Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, November 12, 2018 surrounded
by her loving family. Pamela was 43. We
thank You, Father, for the Life of our dearly beloved Pamela who has
gone on to be with You. Thank you for her time on earth and the impact
she had on our lives. Born in Sus, NB on July 25, 1975, Pamela was
the only daughter of Reginald E. and Shirley M. (McAllister)
Ferris.
Throughout her working career, Pamela work in
Financial Services where she not only excelled at her work but also
where she made many lasting friendships. Pamela had a passion when it
came to interacting with people and she beautifully connected that
passion with a purpose, whether it be a word of encouragement, a
greeting or simply a smile. Her presence always was an inspiration and
friendly. She was a great lady of faith and loved her church. A
faithful member of Capital Community Church in Fredericton she worked
tirelessly supporting her husband and sons at church and with all
their endeavors.
Pamela loved her family dearly and sadly leaves
behind her loving and devoted husband of 21 years, Andrew Drost; two
sons who were the sunshine of her life, Jordan and Joel; her parents;
brothers, Jeff Ferris and Graham Ferris (Sabrina); father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Gerald and Dawn Drost; brother-in-law, David Drost
(Jamie) and sisters-in-law, Renee Austin (Ron) and Esther Ellis (Josh)
as well as a number of much loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,
cousins and a host of faithful and loving friends. Her grandparents
Ken and Thelma Ferris and Walter and Margaret McAllister, who
predeceased her, were a very important part of her
life.
The family will receive relatives and friends
at Capital Community Church, 71 Downing
St, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 12:00 Noon
until 4:00 PM. A service celebrating the life of Pamela Ferris-Drost
will be held at the church on Friday, November 16 at 11:00 AM with
Rev. Raymond Woodward officiating assisted by Rev. Jack Leaman.
Interment will be held at the Mill Cove Cemetery. For those who wish
to make a memorial contributions may be made to Capital Community
Church Youth Ministry or to a favorite charity of your
choice.
