ROY, NORM
1955-2018
The family announces with great sorrow, his sudden passing on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the age 63. Beloved husband of Nicole Rozon-Roy and loving father of Leeann Roy (Kyle), Eric Roy(Melanie) and Tanya Chénier-Charette (Pat). Cherished grandfather of Ruby Roy and Lisa, Breanne and Brandon. Dear brother of Pierrette (John), René and Jocelyne (Harry). He was predeceased by his parents Lionel and Fernande Roy and his brother André. Also left to mourn are many treasured nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends, notably Gary and Bobby. Norm was a true outdoorsman by nature. He loved hunting, fishing and tending to his vegetable garden. He was a skilled craftsman; a welder/millwright by trade and a talented stained glass artist. He loved animals and leaves behind 2 beloved cats, Moe and Max.
The family will receive friends from 11am -12:45pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home in Timmins. A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Calvin Vezina, will follow on-site at 1pm. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) would be greatly appreciated.
