Obituary for
Norman Brown
We regret to announce the death of Norman Brown on June 17, 2018 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 91 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and AA. In his spare time, Norman enjoyed camping, travelling, senior skating and he was regarded as the best blind referee in the Seniors’ Hockey League.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 71 years, Irene; his children: Richard (Debra) of Kamloops and Linda Brown of Kitchener; his grandchildren: Erika, Tiffany, and Dana; three great-grandchildren: Tristan, Leo, and Luka; and one sister, Ann Dorsch of Coquitlam. He was predeceased by his parents; Fergus and Christina Brown.
A memorial service will be held in the fall. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Norman Brown le dimanche 17 juin 2018 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l’âge de 91 ans. Il était membre de la Légion royale canadienne et des AA. Comme passe-temps, Norman aimait faire du camping, voyager et participer au groupe de patinage des aînés. Il était reconnu comme le meilleur arbitre aveugle dans la Ligue de hockey des aînés.
Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte son épouse de 71 ans, Irene; ses enfants: Richard (Debra) de Kamloops et Linda Brown de Kitchener; ses petits-enfants: Erika, Tiffany et Dana; trois arrière-petits-enfants : Tristan, Leo et Luka; et une soeur, Ann Dorsch de Coquitlam. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents: Fergus et Christina Brown. Un service commémoratif aura lieu à l’automne.
Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation des enfants du corridor du Nord. ©
