Norma Marilyn Dutot

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Norma Marilyn Dutot (nee Dominie) announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 at the age of 83 years. Born in Cape La Hune, NL, Norma was the daughter of the late Norman and Sarah Dominie (nee Durnford). She was also predeceased by her father and mother-in-law William and Margaret Dutot (nee Lomond); husband Maxwell Dutot; brothers George (Ann) Dominie; sister Alice Bungay; brothers-in-law William (Mabel) Dutot, Charles (Nancy) Dutot, Claude Porter; grandson William Dutot; nephew Greg Dutot and niece Jeanette Dutot.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving son Maxwell (Wanda) Dutot of Port aux Basques, NL; daughter Linda Morgan of Gimli, Manitoba; grandsons Steven, Andrew, Jonathan; brothers Frank (Honor) Dominie of Botwood, NL, Wayne (Marilyn) Dominie of Port aux Basques, NL; great-grandchildren Jason, Samara, Rosie; sisters-in-law Margaret Devoy of McDougall’s, NL, Gladys Porter; brothers-in-law Daniel (Marilyn) Dutot, and David Dutot all of Port aux Basques, NL plus a large circle of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 from 7-9 pm continuing on Friday, August 3rd, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. in Port aux Basques, NL. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 4th, 2018 at 2 pm from St. James Anglican Church officiated by Rev. Marlene Harvey with interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, TCH, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Norma’s memory can be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada, 316 – 4211 Yonge St, Toronto, ON, M2P 2A9.
