Obituary for
Nathan Barrett
Passed peacefully away in his 91st year, surrounded by his loving wife and family on August 23rd, 2018. Nathan Clarence Barrett from St. John’s formerly of Bishops Cove Newfoundland.
Predeceased by his daughters Judy Parab and Linda Noah, his parents Nathan and Lydia (Smith), his brothers Johnny, Edward (Susie) and John Lester, sister Queenie and infant grandson Daniel.
Leaving with loving memories his wife and best friend of 68 years Margaret (Gilbert), his children Eddie (Lorraine), Wayne (Debbie), Queenie Ferris (Bill), Don (Helen), Nathan (Donna), Susan Reid (Ralph), Kim Granter (Gary), and Chris (Terri-Lynn) and Son-in-Law Bob Noah. His 19 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren. Brother Gus (Blanche) and Sister-in-Law Regina.
Also leaving a large circle of relatives and friends including special friends Joe Pelley, Ellie Pitcher and Verna Pitcher and his buddies from the Old Comrades dart league.
Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home Hamilton Ave. Saturday August 25th, 2018 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Sunday August 26th 2018 from 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral Service to take place from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church on Monday, August 27th 2018 at 11:00 am, interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery Kenmount Road.
