Murray Melvin Horvath October 24th 2018

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Murray Horvath, beloved husband and cherished father on October 24, 2018. Murray was born in Chatham, Ontario.
He is survived by Ingrid, his loving wife of 37 years, his children Tyler (Tonja and grandson Russell) of Quesnel, BC and Ben (Jody) of Salmo, BC, his parents Joe and Dolly Horvath of Salmo BC, as well as his five siblings.
Murray was a hardworking, devoted family man who lived his faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
For a large part of his life Murray, along with his wife Ingrid had a small farm where they raised poultry and grew a garden. Murray found a balance between his work life and home life, taking the time to pass on his work ethic and dedication to a job-well-done to his sons. For over 40 years Murray was a valued employee at ATCO Wood Products, often working side by side with his brother Joe Horvath.
Those who had their lives touched by Murray will remember him as the caring, helpful man he was, always putting others ahead of himself. No challenge brought to him was too great, and Murray had the unique ability to find a solution to any problem small or great.
A memorial service will be held on November 17, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 1050 Highway 3B, Beaver Valley, BC.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Murray Melvin Horvath October 24th 2018..
