Morine Claire Metzler
1950-2018
Morine Claire Metzler – age 68, of Greenwich, passed away on
Wednesday, November 28, 2018. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta on
July 29, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Morris and Maxine
(Dixon) Fraser. She taught school in Alberta for many years. Finally
retiring from Northern Lights College, Slave Lake, Alberta. She was a
faithful member of the Baha’i Community. Morine is survived
by her husband, Wayne, Greenwich; brothers, David (Lynn), Edmonton,
Alberta; Brent, British Columbia; sister-in-law, Ann and
brother-in-law, Simon (Holly); many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and
nephews. She had many great friends in other parts of Canada that she
will be missed by. A very special thank you to all the nurses and
staff of Shannex Blomidon in Greenwich where she resided and received
excellent care. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Saturday, December 1, 2018 in the Hillaton Cemetery, Hillaton.
Donations in memory may be made to the Nova Scotia SPCA –
Kings Shelter or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements
have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation
Services, Kentville.
