OBITUARY
Mildred May Insley
31 March , 1941 – 19 May , 2018
INSLEY; ( MEYER) Millie “Tootie” passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Port Alberni, BC at the age of 77 years.
Predeceased by brother Raymond and nephew Danny.
Millie is survived by her children Debbie (Ron), Curtis, Kim (Graeme), Jenny (Joe), Michael (Barb) and Troy (Sheila); her fourteen
grandchildren: Amanda, Sheldon, Natasha, Keshia, Hope, Landon, Tristan, Drew, Alex, Miranda, Noah, Daniel, Kara and Daryl. Eight great grandchildren, and her siblings Doug (Cory), Darlene (Jules), and Richard. She will also be missed by her close friend Del and long time friend Donna as well as numerous friends from the Beaufort.
Millie was a fun lady who loved all kinds of music (above all Elvis), dancing, going to concerts, playing the slots, and having a good burger and beer with friends. Millie loved walking to the Harbour Quay to watch the boats in the inlet and enjoy the fresh air.
According to Millie’s wishes, no formal service will be held. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Millie’s name to the charity of your choice.
