Michelle A. Viel
1964-2018
The death of Michelle Ann Viel of Fredericton occurred on Friday,
March 30, 2018 at the Fredericton Hospice House. Born November 21,
1964 in Stanley she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Phyllis
(Shannon) Viel.
Michelle loved to watch TV sports. Nascar was always one of Michelle’s
favourite things to watch, and anyone who knew Michelle, knew how big
a fan she was of Jeff Gordan and the Montreal Canadians. She loved
people and connected very easily with anyone. She liked Dairy Queen
Blizzards. She always looked forward to meeting her group at Tim
Horton’s (Timmy’s) for coffee. She worked most of her life as a
Pharmacist Technician.
Michelle enjoyed all types of Music and was an avid reader of true
crime novels.
We will miss Daily phone conversations that covered and solved just
about everything.
Michelle’s dearest friend Charles Lamb, was always on her mind and in
her heart. Michelle’s family is forever appreciative of the love and
support he provided throughout her time of illness.
Michelle is survived by her 11 siblings, Jerry Viel (Denise), Vera
Doherty (Claude), Carole Viel-Forsythe (Fred),Rosemary McCready
(Norman) Leo Viel, Anita Viel, Sharon Thompson (Andrew) Peter Viel
(Pam), David Viel (Betty Ann), Marty Viel (Debbie) Michael
Viel,(Staci) as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and
extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 12-2 pm from
L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors. A funeral service will follow at 2:00
pm from the chapel. The interment will be held in the Greenfield
Cemetery at alter date. Donations made to the Fredericton Hospice
House or the Greenfield Cemetery would be appreciated.
