Daoust, Michel Emile (1942-2018)
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Saturday November 24th, 2018 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Donat Daoust and of the late Rhéa ( née Brunet) Daoust. Loving husband of Josée Daoust (née Quevillon) of Sudbury. Beloved father of François (Charlene) of Monetville and Rick (Natalie) of Val Caron. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Sebastian, Kaitlin, Zoé and Kaiya. Also survived by his three sisters and by his two sisters-in-law of the Quevillon family. Retired from the MTO, Michel was a community minded person who participated in many activities in the Noëlville region. He was a municipal councillor for 3 terms at the Municipality of French River, a member of the board of directors at the Caisse Populaire Noëlville, a member of the parish council at Église St. David and a volunteer cook for the Seniors Club (Club des Ainés) in Noëlville.
The family will receive friends at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church , Val Thérèse, Saturday December 1st 2018 after 9:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am. Donations to the McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
