Obituary of Maureen Houlihan
Houlihan, Maureen Elaine: 56, Halifax, NS, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at the VG Site, QEII, Halifax, NS. Born in Halifax, she was the only daughter of Patrick and Elaine (McBride) Houlihan. Throughout her life, Maureen had been a dedicated and valued employee of the Province of Nova Scotia and had worked diligently for Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Affairs in various capacities. She is survived by her brothers, Timothy, Whistler, BC, Kevin and Christopher, both of Halifax, as well as numerous friends and colleagues. She was predeceased by her parents.
Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. In keeping with Maureen’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory of Maureen may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
