Zovko, Mate
Peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 Mate Zovko, born in Bijela, Hercegovina, Croatia, died in London, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of 46 years of Cvija (Vidackovic) Zovko. Loving father of Andelko Zovko and Adrijana (Bernard) Džeba. Proud dido of Karlo, Leopold, and Lucija. Dear brother of Dragica, Janko (Stefica), Andelka (Mato) and Mara (Bernard). Predeceased by his brothers Ilija and Slavko. Uncle Mate will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at the London Regional Cancer Program, Southwest LHIN, Paramed and VON. May God bless them. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church, 2889 Westminster Drive, on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 8 o’clock. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
