Gordon, Mary Ida (nee Matthews)
97 Years, Passed away peacefully on Christmas Day in London, Ontario. Reunited with her husband of 67 years, Michael (2009). Loving mother to Diane Dineen and her husband Patrick of London, Rick Gordon and his wife Martha of Edmonton, Alberta and Barry Gordon and Bertha of St. Albert, Alberta. Cherished grandmother to Sean Dineen and his wife Deneen of Houston, Texas, Cory Gordon and his wife Lisa, Melissa Bell and her husband Jamie, all of Edmonton, Alberta. Great grandmother to Grace, Aedan, Carter, Jack and Jeremy. Mary was a member of the Scottish Society of Windsor, and both her and her husband were parishioners at Christ The King and St. Alphonsus churches. Mary was known for her generosity and kindness, and would open her doors and heart to anyone in need, friend, family or stranger. Visitation will be held at Janisse Funeral Home (1139 Ouellette Ave, 519-253-5225) on Thursday, January 3rd, 2018 from 5-7pm. Funeral Service on Friday, January 4th, 2018 at 11am in the Chapel. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In kindness, donations may be made in Mary’s name to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.janissefuneral.ca
