Dewar, Mary Jane….Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter Dewar. Loving mother of Brenda Ogden (Bruce Campbell), Gwen Brown-Perrault all of Trenton, Peter Dewar (Lori) of Calgary, AB and Laura Dewar (Mark Despault) of Picton and her loving dog Maggie. Mary was very involved in a number of different community aspects including Trenton Lioness, Carrying Place Brownies, United Church Women’s Group (previous King Street United Church), Meals on Wheels. Her loving nature and sense of humor will be truly remembered by her entire family. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the Weaver – West Chapel, 170 Dundas St., Trenton on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 from 2-3 pm with a memorial service to follow at 3 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Trenton Lioness would be appreciated by the family.
