It is with broken hearts
that the family of the late MARTHA M.
HILLIER of Fortune
announces her passing. Martha passed away at the Blue Crest
Home in Grand Bank on December
29th, 2018 at the age of 84. Leaving to mourn
with a lifetime of wonderful memories are; husband, Joseph of 62
years; son, Reuben (Madeline) Hillier of Labrador City; daughters,
Patsy Hillier (Lloyd Doucette) of Halifax, NS, and Tracy (Chris)
Penney of Grand Bank; 3 grandchildren, Lindsay Janes, and Holly
& Heather Vincent; 2 great-grandchildren, Priya and
Aunnaleigh; sister, Mary (Ed) Skinner of Grand Bank; brother, Richard
(Mae) Foote of Grand Bank; plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. Martha was predeceased by her parents, Bernard
& Mary Foote; brothers, John, George and Bill Foote; and
sister, Rose Kelland.
The Hillier Family will be accepting visitors at
Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Grand Bank on Monday, December
31st
from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes,
Grand Bank on Wednesday, January
2nd
at 2:00 p.m.
Cremation to
follow
In Martha’s memory donations can be made to
the Heart & Stroke Foundation or flowers gratefully
accepted.
