It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Christopher Hawkins announces his passing on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Airdrie, AB. Born May 28, 1962 in Fredericton, NB he was the loving husband of Dolores Hawkins and son of Elizabeth (Waugh) and the late David Hawkins. Mark was President/Project Manager of BMP Construction Management Ltd. in Airdrie at the time of his death. He had more than 27 years of varied experience in Management, Sales, Marketing, Estimating and Project Management in residential and commercial construction. Mark was a very creative person and a born craftsman who could design and build almost anything. He was a loving, caring, generous man and had many friends in New Brunswick and Alberta. He loved life and especially enjoyed salmon fishing in BC and riding his Harley through the Foothills.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mark is survived by his sons, Joshua Hawkins and Alex Hawkins; grandson, Tru Hawkins; brothers, Steve (Kim) Hawkins and Dale (Nancy) Hawkins; nephew, Brad (Kory) Hawkins and great niece, Bridgette Hawkins. Besides his father, Mark was predeceased by his grandparents, Stanley and Hilda (Armstrong) Hawkins and Benjamin and Helen (Henderson) Waugh.

A Celebration of Life for Mark will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 2-4 pm. Donations in Mark’s memory can be made to a charity of the donors’ choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
