Obituary of Marjorie Light
Light, Marjorie Eleanor of Tillsonburg and formerly of R. R. #4 Aylmer, passed away at Harvest Crossing Retirement Community on Monday, October 22, 2018. She was 92. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Light and the late Donald Campbell. Dear mother of Cathie Elmgren(Lindsay) of Ottawa, Lorraine Lebel(Andy) of Springfield and Bill Light(Denise) of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Shannon, Jamie, April (Steve), Christopher (Malerie), Auralee(Anton), Taylor(Matt), Christie, Eric and Scott. Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Welland, Ontario on November 16, 1925, daughter of the late Harold and Irene(Hunter) Whitwam and step-daughter to the late Thomas Christie. Marjorie was a faithful member of the Mapleton Church of Christ Disciples. She was a Registered Nurse and worked at Dr. Gliddon’s office in St. Thomas and a proud member of East Elgin Nurses Assoc. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
