Marion Grace Staple (Elliott)
Marion slipped away from life in the presence of family on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the age of 97. Born in Swift Current, SK on October 12, 1920 to Allan and Maude Elliott. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, William James (Bill). Loving mother of Marilyn (Robert Ward), Kenneth, and Noreen Morton (Barry). Proud grandmother of Jeffrey (Frances), Elena (Adrian), Adrianna, and Joel. Great-grandmother of Celina, Holly, and Carmen. Dear sister of Elinor Sanders, and the late Donald Elliott and James Elliott. Fondly remembered by numerous relatives in the Staple and Elliott families.
Many thanks to the staff at Carlingwood Retirement Community and Forest Hill Long Term Care for their kind and compassionate care of our mother over the past three years. A special thank you to Marion’s sister Elinor in Vancouver, the best sister that our mother ever could have had. Private family celebration of life.
