Marilyn Joan McKellar 2018

OBITUARY
Marilyn Joan McKellar
March 1, 1932 – November 15, 2018
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marilyn Joan McKellar of Calgary. Marilyn passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, November 15, 2018.
Marilyn was strongly devoted to her Lord and Saviour, husband, family and friends, which continued throughout her life. Marilyn was always happiest surrounded by family and good friends, together with the many years spent at Mara Lake, camping, travelling, and her true passion, gardening, all of which she shared with her husband (of 63 years) and family. Throughout her life, Marilyn consistently put others before herself, whether it was her family or friends. She unfailingly donated to the many charities that were dear to her, and David’s heart.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her sons, Kim (Arlene) and Rod (Sue); grandchildren, David (Roopa), Stacy, Christopher (Jenny), Lindsay (Zachary), Jody and Leanne; as well as, eight much loved great-grandchildren. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, David; her son, Steven; as well as her brothers, Doug and Les.
Special thanks to the entire staff at Dulcina Hospice for their compassionate care of our dear mother.
