Marie Laura “Simone” Pharand (Mather)
August 8, 1937 – December 5, 2018
Peacefully, in hospital, on December 5, 2018 with her family by her side. Cherished partner of William Jeacle. Loving mother of Edward Mather, Gerard Mather (Annette Mordy), Glen Mather, Laurie Wilson (Melvin) and Terri Moore (Lee). Dear nanny to 11 grand children and 10 great grand children. Predeceased by her son Joseph and by her brother Gerard Pharand. She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville, Ontario, on Tuesday, December 11 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church, 505 Clothier Street West, Kemptville, Ontario on Wednesday, December 12th at 11 am followed by a time of fellowship and refreshment in the parish hall. Interment will take place in the spring. Donations in memory of Simone may be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
