Obituary of Margaret Messinger
Messinger, Margaret (Meg) Mary Wynn
Born February 18, 1944 in Tremadog, North Wales, she attended girls boarding school for 8 years before training at Constance Spry’s to achieve her Cordon Bleu. She worked as a pastry chef at Scotland Yard before joining the Metropolitan Police as a woman constable. Meg immigrated to Canada in November 1969 and became a civilian member of the RCMP where she met her husband Ralph Messinger. They were married for 47 years and shared a love of draft horses. She also loved cooking, gardening, reading, mountain biking, and snowshoeing. Meg is survived by husband Ralph, their four children Sian, Carys, Margaret-Ellen, and Adam, their 6 grandchildren, and sister Lowri Hughes of Wales. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at the Anglican Church in Bridgetown on Friday the 23rd of November at 2pm, followed by a reception at the Centrelea Hall.
