It is
with broken hearts that the family of the late MARGARET PETERS of
English Harbour East announces her passing.
Margaret passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care
Center in Burin on Sunday, December
30th, 2018 at the age
of 69. Leaving to mourn with a
lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband, Douglas 52 years;
sons, Patrick Peters of English Harbour East, Jamie Peters of Brooks,
AB, Donnie (Crystal) Peters of Brooks, AB, and Trevor Peters of
English Harbour East; daughter, Paula (Norman) Freeborn of Labrador
City; 5 grandchildren, Douglas Freeborn, Reilly Freeborn, Griffin
Peters, Christian Peters & Jace Peters; her fur baby, Odie;
sisters, Judy (Michael) Hickey of Grand Le Pierre, Sharon (Ivan)
Hickey of English Harbour East, and Catherine Hackett of English
Harbour East; brothers, Michael Hackett of St. John’s, and
Wyman (Lori) Hackett of English Harbour East; plus a large circle of
nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents Patrick &
Theresa Hackett; sister, Ada Hackett; and mother-in-law, Louise
Peters.
The
Peters Family will be accepting visitors at St. Anne’s Roman
Catholic Church, English Harbour East on Tuesday, January
1st, Wednesday,
January 2nd, and
Thursday, January 3rd
from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Mass of
Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January
4th at 11:00 a.m. from
St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, English Harbour
East.
Internment
will follow at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic
Cemetery.
