IN LOVING MEMORY
Margaret Isobel McPherson ‘Marg’ age 88. Died peacefully in Fonthill ON, April 18, 2018 surrounded by family and friends. Born in Montreal, she grew up in Noranda QC and then lived most of her life in St. Catharines working at the St Catharines General Hospital. She was always proud of her children; their every accomplishment, large or small, was celebrated. She guided by example with compassion and grace and always allowed the space for all to find their own unique path through life.
Daughter of Robert and Minnie Miller, pre-deceased by sisters Dorothy and Jean. She will be greatly missed by her children Trina, Robert (Alison), Richard (Penny), Ryan (Michelle), honorary son Gary (Liz), grandchildren Tanya, Joseph, Tara, Jennifer, Matthew, Ashley, Riley and all of her many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Shorthills Retirement Villa for their loving care during the past few years. Visitation will be held at Silver Spire United Church, 366 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines, on Saturday May 5, 2018 from 1 – 2 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held following at 2 PM. A donation in memory Marg, can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 905-892-1699.
