Louise Cormier, 72, of Saint-Édouard-de-Kent, passed away
peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the UHC Dr Georges L Dumont,
Moncton on Monday May 21, 2018. She was married to André
Cormier on October 15, 1966, 51 years ago. Born in
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Gérard
and the late Bertha (LeBlanc) Jaillet.
Louise was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadians, and her passion was
music. She would attend the «Gros Tyme» as often as
possible and the music at the «Pays de la Sagouine» as
well as other music event. She also attended all the activities of
her granddaughter Josée for the past 10 years.
She will be sadly missed by her husband André, her two
children; Cécile Cormier (Sean Fougère) and Emerie
Cormier of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, and her two granddaughters;
Josée and Cynthia. She also leaves to mourn her three sisters;
Geralda Robichaud, Rose-Marie Jaillet of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent and
Corinne Vautour of Saint-Louis-de-Kent as well as her godchildren;
Corinne, Patricia, Louise, Isabelle and Jean-Louis, and several
nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by an infant son Hubert (1973), her son-in-law
Donald Maillet (2014), and two sisters; Marina (2015) and
Visitations will be held at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic
Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Friday May 25, 2018 from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will
be celebrated at the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Church on Saturday May 26,
2018 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
