Louis’ Obituary
MACDONALD, Louis Bernard ~ 75 of Nictaux, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Searletown, P.E.I. he was a son of the late Leonard & Catherine (Campbell) MacDonald. Louis retired after 27 years of service in the Canadian Army. Later he returned to work as a Medical Assistant at C.F.B. Gagetown, after which he worked as a courier in Dartmouth. Louis enjoyed travelling, especially to P.E.I. to visit family and friends. He is survived by his children Michael MacDonald, Bedford and Steven (Charlene) MacDonald, Porter’s Lake and their mother Judith, East Chezzetcook; sister Catherine Clayton, Lower Sackville; brothers Jerry (Sueann) MacDonald, Pennsylvania and Grant MacDonald, “The Berkeley”, Dartmouth as well as several nieces and nephews. Louis was predeceased by a daughter Michelle MacDonald and a sister Jeannette. By request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, 902-825-3448.
